The Azrieli Music Project

The Azrieli Music Project: INAUGURAL CONCERT

SEASON PARTNER

Maison symphonique de Montréal

The Azrieli Foundation and the OSM join forces as part of a concert that reflects on the tradition, identity and the universality of music. Four wonderful soloists and the OSM chorus join the Orchestra on stage to perform masterpieces by Bernstein and Mahler, as well as a spectacular clarinet concerto by Wlad Marhulets, winner of the Azrieli Music Prize. The public will also have the chance to attend the world premiere of an innovative and brilliant work by Brian Current, The Seven Heavenly Halls, winner of the Azrieli Comissioning Competition.

Recently established by the Azrieli Foundation, this ambitious music project aims to promote, on a very large scale, the creation of new orchestral works. Beautiful discoveries not to be missed!
