Corporate donations
Founded in 1934 by a group of fervent music lovers and with the backing of the Québec government, the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal is one of the foremost cultural organizations in a city whose enhanced international renown is a matter of great concern to it.
The fame that it has earned through its recordings and touring activities has made it an ambassador for the Montreal community. As proud as it was of its status as a great cultural institution, the Orchestra was that much more pleased with the arrival, in 2006, of its new music director, Maestro Kent Nagano.
In agreeing to make a donation of $1,500 or more, you become a member of the OSM’s Honorary Council. That membership entitles you to a number of advantages, which are listed under the heading “Honorary Council.”
