The OSM and Kent Nagano invite you to a very special event, an enormous musical feast in the heart of Montreal and the very pinnacle of the celebrations surrounding the Orchestra’s 75th anniversary. On the program will be a monument of the symphonic repertory: The eternal “Ode to Joy,” the very summit of his all-embracing concern for freedom and the brotherhood of man taken from Beethoven’s gigantic Ninth Symphony. This unique benefit concert harks back to the days when the OSM made regular appearances at the Forum.

Proud supporter of the Centenary of the Montreal Canadiens, the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal revives François Dompierre and Georges-Hébert Germain’s highly successful work Les Glorieux, a true hymn to our national sport, created at Place des Arts on February 20.

Proceeds from this evening’s concert will contribute to furthering the OSM’s international reputation.
