Pre-concert talk, 9.30 a.m.: Espace musique’s Mario Paquet interviews conductor Nathan Brock.

Led by the OSM’s second assistant conductor, Nathan Brock, this program artfully combines styles and genres. Mendelssohn’s eminently classical Symphony No. 1 and Smetana’s popular symphonic poem The Moldau frame Quebecer Jacques Hétu’s Trumpet Concerto, performed by the world-renowned virtuoso Guy Few.
