- Excerpts of works, as established through standard performance practice, are allowed (ex: movements). We recommend that any proposed excerpts be submitted to the OSM Standard Life Competition Committee for approval.
- By "Canadian composer", the Competition means an associate composer of the Canadian Music Center. To help you choose a work by a Canadian composer, you can contact one of the five regional offices of the Canadian Music Centre.
- Please note that the quality of the recording may influence the jury. The candidate is recommended to make the recording with the highest human and technical ressources available so as to submit a high quality recording. No recording with orchestra accompaniment will be accepted.
