THE NEW WORLD

Tuesday February 12, 10:15 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., in french
Wednesday February 13, 10:15 a.m., bilingual performance

Throughout his “New World” Symphony, Dvorák relates in music his sojourn on North American soil. Over the years, our continent has inspired any number of composers, who have either drawn from folklore and jazz or simply decided to make a complete break from these traditions and start afresh. Experience a journey across North America, with stops in Canada, the United States, and Mexico. The renowned pianist Alain Lefèvre will perform a new concerto by Walter Boudreau.
