The Double Concerto for Two Pianos by Glass 2023-2024

Glass’ Double Piano Concerto, written for these two artists, is a work in which soloists and orchestra weave a tapestry of sound in constant flux.

Season partner

Conducted by Fabien Gabel, the OSM welcomes to its stage pianists Katia and Marielle Labèque. Glass’ Double Piano Concerto, written for these two artists, is a work in which soloists and orchestra weave a tapestry of sound in constant flux. The melodic sensuality of Richard Strauss’ Dance of the Seven Veils and of Schmitt’s La tragédie de Salomé bring a touch of exoticism to this program.
