On August 19, Angrignon’s Park will be lit up in purple for the OSM’s visiting concert inspired by tales and legends from around the world. Gallop along with Alexis le Trotteur, the character who inspired the eponymous piece by Jacques Hétu, then be transported to the world of jazz with Tommy and Glenn by Quebec composer David Martin, showcasing OSM Principal Trombone James Box. Next, you will be invited to board Sinbad’s ship for a journey to the sounds of Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade. This is a wonderful opportunity to get out and enjoy both the summer sun and the OSM’s beautiful music!
