The Orchestre symphonique de Montréal carries on its tradition and inviting families to be part of its Bal des enfants, which will take place at Maison symphonique de Montréal on March 17, 2018. The Ambassador, Mrs Danièle Henckel, Founder and President of Daniel Henckel Inc., and the Honorary Co-chairs, Mrs Marie-Pier Germain, Operations Director of Groupe Germain Hôtels, Mr. Louis-Simon Ménard, President, CEO & Executive producer of Digital Dimension and Mrs Eve Miron, Merchandising Director, Home Decor of Bouclair, this magical event will help the OSM raise the funds it needs to support its mission of education and accessibility.

The Bal des enfants is a celebration intended for children five and over accompanied by their family. Concert presentation: Little Red Riding Hood

Our Little Red Riding Hood is a young, courageous and energetic young girl… though a bit stubborn and rebellious. Against her mother’s instructions, she chooses the shortest but most dangerous path to her ailing grandmother’s house: through the forest!

Along the way, she meets many small and very friendly creatures, but also a great, big and crafty wolf with an enticing voice. This theatrical tale for the whole family is brought to life with shimmering, wondrous music performed by the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, conducted by Maestro Nagano. Audiences are sure to be captivated, and comforted, as they would be on a family Sunday…  complete with cake and lovely fresh butter!
