Julien Corriveau
Julien Corriveau was born in Louiseville (a.k.a. Buckwheat Country) in 1984. After spending two years in Guinea (West Africa) with his family, he completed high school in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, during which time he formed the group Les Appendices with his friends.
Holding a master’s degree in philosophy from the Université de Montréal and a certificate in screenwriting from UQAM, Julien is a screenwriter, script editor, actor, composer, musician, and former karateka.
Best known for his work with Les Appendices and Club Soly (Noovo, Crave), Julien has contributed as a writer to numerous television projects (Le Bye Bye, Kamikazes, Gala ADISQ, Entre Deux Draps, Cette année-là) and web productions, in addition to appearing on screen in several shows.
He also writes for comedy shows by Arnaud Soly, Fabien Cloutier, Jean-Sébastien Girard, and many others.
In 2020, he published his first book: Monsieur Mousteille, Motobiographie (Éditions de l’Homme).
As a musician, he released his first solo album The Final Score in 2020. He is also a member of the band Châteaubriand and composes music for various television productions.
Julien is vegan but tries not to talk about it too much. He is also a guitar collector, a scotch enthusiast, and a hot sauce aficionado (though not all at once).
