On April 6, 1787, the Santa Cueva Oratory in Cádiz, Spain, built inside a cave, was the chosen venue for the orchestral premiere of Haydn’s The Seven Last Words of Our Saviour on the Cross. Conducted by Bernard Labadie, with narration by Quebec actor Yves Jacques, this profoundly emotional work will help us to better glimpse the light that shines beyond the difficulties we face today.
