On July 26, come celebrate summer with the OSM at Poly-aréna Park in Brossard! For this outdoor concert, the OSM has prepared a cocktail mix of sun-kissed music with the flavours of Spain. This program of lively dances and bright colours notably features works by Falla and Granados, two emblematic composers of the land of Cervantes. The rhythms and sounds of Spain inspired many artists from other countries, including Bizet in his opera Carmen, whose well-known arias will be performed by contralto, 2021 OSM Competition winner and Révélation Radio-Canada 2022, Rose Naggar-Tremblay. This concert will also transport you to Mexico in a performance of Márquez’s Danzón no. 2, a musical gem from Central America whose irresistible rhythms get the audience swaying to the music and breaking into applause!
