STRAVINSKY’S THE SOLDIER’S TALE
Streaming now!
Recommended for secondary cycle two and students enrolled in an art program or post-secondary studies.
With an ensemble of 7 OSM Soloists, follow the unfortunate adventures of a soldier struggling with the devil…
The Soldier’s Tale, which grew out of a deep collaboration between Stravinsky and the Swiss writer Ramuz, is an eminently original work embracing theatre, stage music and comedy. Its good-natured atmosphere and jazz and ragtime accents reflect the spirit of Paris during the Belle Époque. This is an opportunity to discover or revisit a richly inventive creation!
Concert and educational guide available in French and in English.
