Known for her drive, precision, and presence behind the podium, Dina Gilbert is a frequent guest conductor throughout Canada and abroad. A native of Beauce, she currently serves as Music Director of the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra (B.C.) with which she has excelled at conducting major works of the symphonic repertoire while calling attention to new musical works. She has conducted the OSM’s collaborative hip hop concerts featuring the collective Dead Obies and Alaclair Ensemble, Sarahmée, and FouKi, joined by his artistic associate QuietMike.
