At sixteen, Schubert composed a quartet brimming with youthful energy, a legacy of his family concerts. Debussy, in turn, infused his only quartet with bold harmonies and a luminous play of tonal colors. With Dreams, Ian Cusson offers evocative music inspired by a Japanese film, where each movement unfolds its own imaginative world.
