Hicky & Kalo Summer 2025
Celebrate nature and the summer with Montréal’s electro stars. Duo Hicky & Kalo will have you dancing and grooving to the beat of tunes inspired by nature. Leon Louder’s “Entomophonie” project will open the set with an exploration in sound of the insect world. Live video performer BunBun will bring their richly coloured and rhythmically synchronized illustrations into the mix.

Hicky & Kalo
DJHicky & Kalo are a DJ and producer duo from Montreal, Canada. Classically trained and both graduates in electronic music from the University of Montreal, the pair have built a strong reputation for their distinct musical identity, dedication to the scene, and deep, melodic sound. As residents of the iconic Stereo Montreal and founders of the imprint Plaisirs Sonores Records, they are considered part of the new wave shaping the future of the global underground melodic scene.
As accomplished producers, their music has been released on top-tier labels such as Berlin’s Watergate Records, Renaissance Recordings, Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music, When We Dip Records, Replug Records by Cid Inc, and their own Plaisirs Sonores Records. Their productions have attracted remixes from respected artists including Cristoph, Rodriguez Jr., Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Soul Button, Mihai Popoviciu, Volen Sentir, Makebo, and Karmon. Through their imprint Plaisirs Sonores Records, the duo has collaborated with and signed a roster of international talent including Hernan Cattaneo, Rodriguez Jr., Nick Warren, Armen Miran, Cristoph, D-Nox, Soul Button, Cid Inc, Budakid, Sahar Z, Julian Wassermann, Petar Dundov, Dmitry Molosh, and many more. In late 2023, they reached a major milestone with their track ‘Voyage’ — a collaboration with Hernan Cattaneo — which claimed the #1 spot on Beatport’s Progressive House chart. Most recently in 2025, they were nominated for a Juno Award for Underground Dance Single of the Year for ‘Distant Memories’, released on the legendary Watergate Records. Their career has taken them across Canada and around the globe, with performances in countries such as Australia, Argentina, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, Mexico, Colombia, and New Zealand, where they’ve shared their signature sound on some of the most respected stages in the international electronic music scene.

BunBun
VJBunBun is a Montréal-based multimedia artist & VJ whose style is best described as brightly-hued, ultra-textured, beat-synced, and holographic-like.
Their artistic talents have graced the stages of numerous international festivals, concerts, conferences, and clubs, including shows at Bass Coast, Boiler Room, HELLERAU — European Centre for the Arts, Jazz Fest, Labyrinth Arts Centre in Bali, MUTEK Montréal & Tokyo, NODE — Forum for Digital Arts, SXM Festival and WOMB Tokyo.
BunBun has also had the privilege to share the stage with many world-renowned musical artists like Alicia Keys, Gipsy Kings, and Phish.

Leon Louder
Live perfomerLeon Louder is a Canadian composer, sound designer, and experimental musician whose multifaceted practice blends DIY inventiveness with a deep exploration of sound and technology.
His work is defined by an engagement with unorthodox sound sources, and a transformative approach to the real-world sonic environment, incorporating accidents, dream-like juxtapositions, and a deep interest in the psychological effects of technology. He is most interested in the possibilities for sound as a radical language that can change the nature of our relationship with reality, generating new ecosystems of feeling and imagination.
