Previous positions: Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Regina Symphony, Grand Teton Music Festival, Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Academic institutions attended: Bachelor of Music degree from the Juilliard School with Dorothy Delay and Felix Galimir, Indiana University with Josef Gingold, Private studies with Malcolm Lowe, Ivan Galamian, Howard Leyton-Brown, Elman Lowe, Francis Chaplin and Sally Thomas.

Prizes and scholarships: Canada Council for the Arts “B” Grants (1981/82)

Favourite composers: Brahms and Shostakovich

Favourite works: Bach’s sonatas and partitas for solo violin, Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet, Mahler’s Symphony No.5

Interests: Cycling and cooking.
