Grand Finale of the OSM Competition – 2026 Edition – Piano
2026-2027Since 1940, the OSM Competition has brought to light exceptional talents who have left a lasting mark on the musical landscape. Among its laureates are pianists now acclaimed on the international stage, such as Bruce Liu, Jan Lisiecki, and Angela Hewitt, whose careers exemplify the competition’s pivotal role as an artistic springboard. For its 87th edition, the spotlight is on the piano, with a rich and contrasting program in which the finalists—performing with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Antony Hermus—will offer interpretations that are both virtuosic and deeply expressive.
